I’m originally from Italy but have lived, studied, and worked across Europe for many years. More than 12 years ago, I settled in Dresden with my husband, and since then our family has grown with the arrival of two children. I know first-hand what it’s like to navigate life in Germany as a foreigner—everything from settling in, to understanding the healthcare and school systems, to managing the everyday needs of a family.
